Matter Development acquired The Bay and The Landing at Elkhart Lake in January of 2024. The campus is located on 13.27 acres and is the only senior living community in Elkhart Lake, WI.

The campus includes 67 total senior living units with 20 duplex ranch homes (40 units) for independent living residents and a 27-unit assisted living building. The campus is located in the heart of the Village of Elkhart Lake and walking distance from the renowned Osthoff Resort. 

Since its construction in 2008, the community has enjoyed sustained high occupancy. The Campus features a neighborhood of 55+ independent living townhouses and a spacious assisted living apartment complex overlooking a decorative retention pond and wooded lot to the north.  The assisted living building features restaurant-style dining, a beauty salon, and barber shop. Residents also have access to a private clubhouse which can be reserved for events, private dining, or family gatherings. The Campus also features a beautiful outdoor patio, central gazebo and meandering walking paths.
